Intuitive Consulting was started out of necessity. Dr. Cox noticed when she was working in the system that too many cases went unsolved, because of red tape. Families were not able to get closure for longer periods of time, because there just were not enough resources to devote to individual cases. Man power was simply spread too thin. She openned Intuitive Consulting in order to lighten the load for law enforcement.

Dr. Cox prefers to work directly with law enforcement, however she will contact law enforcement on behalf of families who contact her requesting her services. She prefers not to work directly with families, because some of ithe information gathered may be unpleasant for families to process on their own. She stresses that families take advantage of every service available to them, including support groups.

We get asked all the time. Why the name Intuitive Consulting? We believe that a large part of catching a criminal is combining good science with your gut feeling. We are willing to explore almost any lead in order to crawl inside a criminal's head and know him like his own mother.

We welcome cold cases and dead ends. The only thing we ask of law enforcement is that they follow-up on any leads we are able to produce for them. They may do this in an official or unofficial manner as long as they explore the option of the information presented to them.

On occaison we do cases probono or on a sliding scale depending on necessity and our schedule. We never want to make money off of other people's pain. Victim's did not ask to have this happen to them. However, we have to keep our doors open in order to continue to do this work, so please be sure to discuss fees with us.
